Description

Well I got up at the crack of dawn to shoot the sunrise so I thought I shouldn't leave out the moon and hurt it's feelings, it's a celestial body too you know

This is an excelent shot, However I don't like the lights in the town, the are bleeding into eachother. Maybe a filter would eliminate the glare from them a bit? or shoot at an earlier time of night.
Also, the footprints don't work. A bit of cloning or healing would fix this.
You also have a bit of curvature which can be fixed in Photoshop.

3 focal points.

  • footstep
  • moon
  • lights from the city
That is a bit to much to make a good composition imo.

Dunno on how to fix this though.

Moon "flare" shows up like a big spot. (thumbdown)

Looks like a nice place though! ;)

The moon is over explosed, the exposure for the Moon is 1/125 f8 or any combination that gives the same exposure, thats it when it comes to the moon..... there is no other exposure for it if you want it exposed correctly !

So for the shot, I know the area, I like what you have done with it..
the footprints dont work unless they were going in a line away from the viewer so I would clone them out..

Agree with the guys above! The moon is just a flare, and the footprints, as they are, don't add anything to the composition.

Nice colors and pretty nice composition. I feel there is too much foreground though. Sky looks a little noisy as well.
