Hey, i'm James from Ireland. Currently studying journalism and hoping to get into photo-journalism. my dream is to work for someone like national geographic...i know, total pipedream but hey we gotta have our goals in life. anyhoo i'm just amazed by the talent of the people on this site and i know i can't hold a candle to any of you fine people but hopefully with practise i'll be able to hold my own As for training in photography/art i'm totally self taught. We had a photojournalism module in college but I already knew everything he was teaching us so it was like a refresher course really. The best way to learn is with books and magazines and of course getting out there and taking pictures which I don't get to do half as much as i'd like to.
